THE WILDCAT TRAIL
A 10km waymarked path encircling the village, passing along the banks of three rivers, including the Spey. Past waterfalls, through a gorge, and with magnificent views of the Cairngorm & Monadhliath Mountains
Please note: The bridge over the Allt Laraidh burn was damaged in recent flooding and as been removed. Walkers are asked to leave the Trail after the Strone section, follow Strone Road down to the village and rejoin the Trail there.
Suitable for the reasonably fit. There are 10 different access points, so you can do it in shorter sections!
The Wildcat Trail and The Wildcat Experience were featured in BBC Scotland' Adventure Show - Coast to Coast in December 2011.
